An Englishman in....San Diego (22nd April 2007)
Whilst in the US for work, Ads joined up with the San Diego Lions, US National Champions, running the line at one of their Metro fixtures and joining in with team training later in the week. It's a good standard of footy, with several players looking like they'll be pushing for Revolution spots for next year's International Cup. Thanks to Cam, Richo, Brando and all the rest of the lads for the warm welcome. Find out more about the Lions at www.sandiegolions.com/

Welcoming new teams (14th April 2007)
A perfect day was complimented by some great early-season footy on the weekend, as the Southampton Titans and the Bournemouth Demons travelled up to Reading for a day of footy. Two of the newly established clubs, competing in the Aussie Rules UK Southern Division, it is great to see the game flourishing outside the capital - and if the enthusiasm and the ability showed by these guys is indicative, then it will be a very healthy game indeed. Full report to follow....

March

The Roos and Oxford Uni after a great day of footy

The University Challenge (21st March 2007)
A few years back, Roos officianados will remember annual matches against the Oxford University team. After a break of a couple of years, it was great to welcome them down to Reading once again. The score didn't matter, and players were shared around, so it wasn't the most formal occasion. It was enjoyed by all and it was very encouraging to see good performances by the Roos, new and old alike.

Pre-Season

Getting started once again
Pre-season training, meeting back up with the boys after some months apart - it's all good. With the annual rotation of new players joining and old friends leaving for home or travel, the squad welcomes quite a few new faces into the Roo's ranks

2006

A vintage year for the Roos, with two trophies, two victorious foreign tours and some great memories. Find out all about it here.
